Architecture
Propexo Connect is a cloud-managed data pipeline platform for operators and software teams who live on a wide proptech footprint — inspections, AI-driven comms, maintenance, access, payments, and the long tail of specialized tools, with room for core property systems when those connectors matter to you. It handles the complete lifecycle of moving data from those systems into modern data infrastructure — no servers to provision, no containers to manage, no code to write.
Two Layers
The platform is organized into two distinct layers that work together to move your operational and analytical data.
The Platform Layer
The platform layer orchestrates everything: the web-based console, connection configuration, sync scheduling, execution monitoring, logging, and alerting. All infrastructure is fully managed by Propexo. You interact with this layer through the console when you configure sources, destinations, pipelines, and schedules.
The Connector Layer
The connector layer is a library of 125+ proprietary integration modules, each engineered to communicate with a specific proptech system or data destination. Connectors handle:
- Authenticating with external systems
- Discovering available data streams and their schemas
- Extracting records from sources or loading records into destinations
Every connector is built and maintained by the Propexo team, ensuring consistent reliability as vendor APIs evolve. This is not a community marketplace — each connector receives dedicated engineering support.

Destination Support
Extracted data can be delivered to the warehouses and databases supported by your account's destination connectors — see the Data Warehouses section of the Connector Directory.
How Data Moves
When you create a connection, Propexo Connect executes a coordinated sequence:
- Schema discovery — The source connector queries the external system and produces a catalog of available streams along with their field definitions
- Stream selection — You choose which streams to sync and, where the source supports it, configure the sync mode and cursor fields for each
- Extraction — During each sync, the source connector reads data according to your configuration. For incremental syncs (where supported by the source connector), only new or modified records since the last successful sync are retrieved.
- Loading — Extracted records are written to your destination, structured according to the destination's schema conventions
The entire pipeline runs on Propexo's managed infrastructure. You interact with it exclusively through the web console.
Scheduling and Execution
Two mechanisms for triggering syncs:
- Cron scheduling — Define a recurring cadence and the platform executes syncs automatically. Data stays current without manual intervention.
- Manual syncs — Trigger on demand from the console for initial loads or configuration testing.
Every sync execution is tracked with full logging — monitor status, review record counts, and diagnose issues directly from the console.
